You must be confident with CNC Programming directly on the machine control, not purely offline, and comfortable supporting real production environments.Youll work remotely, travelling regularly across the UK & Ireland to support customers, demonstrations and installations.DutiesProvide on-site applications support including machine set-up, prove-outs and optimisationProgram, set and support CNC Turning machines with driven tooling / MillTurn capabilityDeliver customer and dealer demonstrations on sliding-head and mill-turn lathesDevelop and refine machining strategies and CNC programsProduce accurate cycle time and process studiesSupport machine installations, handovers and operator trainingProvide remote technical support when requiredSupport exhibitions, open days and technical events as neededSkills & AttributesStrong hands-on experience as a CNC Programmer Setter Operator / CNC Machinist / CNC TurnerProven background in CNC Turning, with MillTurn / driven tooling or Sliding Head experienceConfident CNC Programming at the machine (control-based programming essential)Excellent understanding of tooling, cutting data, workholding and process optimisationPractical, solution-focused approach to machining challengesComfortable dealing directly with customers and delivering trainingAble to work independently in a fully remote roleFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularlyEducation / CertificatesApprenticeship or time-served background in CNC Machining / Precision Engineering preferredFormal CNC or Manufacturing qualifications beneficial but not essentialHours of WorkMonday to Friday, 37-hour week (theoretical)Fully remote role, working from home with regular UK & Ireland travelFlexibility required to meet customer and project needsOccasional overseas travel as experience developsInterested?If youre a hands-on CNC Machinist / CNC Turner who enjoys complex MillTurn or Sliding Head CNC Machining, this is a role where your expertise genuinely matters.
