Housekeeping SupervisorFull-time | 40 hours per week(Shift work including mornings, evenings, weekends & Bank Holidays. Duty Manager shifts on a rotational basis)Salary: £29,413 per annun(Possibility of live in accommodation for right candidate)About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the Housekeeping operation across a club and Fitness Centre. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will inspire your team, uphold exceptional standards of cleanliness, and help deliver an outstanding experience for our Members and Guests. You will supervise and support a team of Housekeeping Assistants, organising daily operations, managing rotas, and ensuring all areas of the Club are maintained to the highest standard. Alongside day-to-day supervision, you will play a key role in training, development, and performance management, helping your team to grow and succeed.Your role:Deliver an exceptional experience for Members and Guests, promoting loyalty and repeat visitsSupervise and manage the day-to-day Housekeeping operation with a strong focus on cleanliness, efficiency, and cost controlOrganise daily workloads, staff rotas, and departmental administrationConduct regular inspections of all Club areas, including the Fitness Centre, Clubhouse, Pavilion, bedrooms, offices, and public areasWork collaboratively with all departments to support a smooth operation and promote a strong One Team ethosEnsure all cleaning equipment is fit for purpose, well maintained, and used safelyTrain, coach, and develop Housekeeping Assistants, including on-the-job and new starter trainingCarry out probation reviews, one-to-ones, and performance reviews, recognising and rewarding excellent performanceMaintain and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure training standards are metResolve Member feedback and complaints positively and professionally, escalating where necessaryEnsure compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and fire regulations, maintaining a safe environment for allAttend weekly Operations meetings and regular meetings with the Housekeeping ManagerCover Duty Manager shifts on a rotational basisAccurately report and log incidents or accidents using Alert65Undertake any additional duties as requested by the Management TeamAbout YouEssential:Experience in a Housekeeping environment within hospitality, a private Members Club, or similarPassion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standardsStrong people management skills with the ability to lead by exampleExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skillsProactive problem-solver with the confidence to handle issues effectivelyCompetent user of Microsoft Office or similar systemsDesirable:Experience using room booking or management systems (e.g. Roommaster)Previous line management experience, including rotas, reviews, and one-to-onesExperience in a supervisory or management roleBenefitsIn addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, you'll enjoy:28 days holiday per year (pro rata)Pension scheme with automatic enrolmentLife assurance schemeHospitality Rewards - discounts across retail, leisure, dining & onlineFree gym and swim access at the Fitness CentreEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP) and wellbeing supportMeals and hot drinks while on dutyComplimentary onsite parkingFriends and family tickets for Henley Royal RegattaStaff socials and eventsMembership to the Institute of Hospitality (after successful probation)Staff accommodation available on requestJBRP1_UKTJ
