Civil Quantity Surveyor - Point of Ayr, WalesLocation: Point of Ayr, North Wales (site-based – 5.5 days per week)Contract: 12-month renewable contractRate: Day rate, outside IR35We are seeking an experienced Civil Quantity Surveyor to support construction activities on a major carbon capture infrastructure development in the Liverpool Bay area. The role is site-based and focuses on the accurate management, tracking, and reporting of construction quantities, costs, and progress in line with project procedures and contractual requirements. You will work closely with construction, commercial, and project management teams to ensure robust cost control, progress measurement, and subcontractor accountability throughout the construction phase.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and uphold high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance on siteMaintain and update bills of quantities and quantity record documentationTrack installed and erected quantities, manhours, and equipment usageUpdate project management and quantity tracking systems with accurate site dataSupport the preparation and assessment of change works, extra works, and dayworksVerify subcontractor progress, work statements, and certificationsAssist with progress measurement, cost forecasting, and reportingSupport early identification of commercial risks and opportunitiesAssist with subcontractor claims, variations, and technical–commercial evaluationsProvide quantity and cost input based on IFC drawings and construction progressRequirementsProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within energy, oil & gas, or large-scale infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of construction quantity management and cost controlExperience working on site-based construction projectsFamiliarity with project management and quantity tracking systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across disciplinesFull right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)If you are interested, lease apply
