UPS Applications EngineerLocation: Hampshire / South UKWe are looking for a skilled UPS Applications Engineer to support our expanding power protection business. If you are an experienced electrical professional with strong knowledge of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and a commercial mindset, we want to hear from you.You will play a key role in turning technical designs into effective proposals, connecting our engineering and sales teams.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Estimating: Create accurate estimates for UPS, generator projects, and maintenance contracts.Tender Analysis: Interpret tender specifications and develop full technical proposals.Quote Development: Turn engineering maintenance reports into client-ready quotations.System Design: Recommend and support various UPS systems and related electrical infrastructure.Client & Team Liaison: Act as the technical lead for internal teams and customers during enquiries and quotations.Required Skills & QualificationsCertified electrician with experience in domestic, industrial, or commercial electrical installations.In-depth knowledge of UPS systems, including installation, service, and commissioning.Fully familiar with BS7671 wiring regulations (18th Edition preferred).Strong numeracy and IT skills for pricing and technical documentation.Valid CSCS or ECS Health & Safety card.Able to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to mission-critical infrastructure across a range of industries, with growth potential in a specialised field.
