Job Title: Corporate Account HandlerLocation: ColchesterSalary: Up to £50,000About the Company:This role sits within a respected commercial insurance organisation known for its strong presence across the mid-market and corporate space. The firm is widely recognised for supporting businesses through complex commercial risk, offering bespoke solutions and a collaborative culture built around growth, client care, and technical excellence.Role Summary:You'll manage the full administration of commercial clients' insurance requirements, from enquiries and renewals to quotations and mid-term adjustments. Working with both Mid-Market and Corporate clients, you'll play a key role in helping businesses navigate evolving risks while contributing to a forward-thinking, supportive team environment. Hybrid working is available from the Colchester office.Key Responsibilities:• Monitor renewals and new business activity to support forward planning and ensure smooth client journeys• Oversee timely and accurate documentation production, helping clients stay protected and compliant• Handle market and third-party queries and prepare high-quality supporting documentation• Plan and coordinate your workload to support team objectives and service-level standards• Maintain client files and credit control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance• Work closely with Account Executives on renewal strategy, attending client meetings where required to strengthen relationships and outcomesRequirements:• Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to work independently under pressure• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across clients, colleagues and insurers• Willingness to learn and support junior team members• Solid technical commercial insurance knowledge• Maths and English GCSEs (or equivalent)• A-levels and Cert CII (desirable)• Acturis experience (preferred)If this role isn't quite right, it's still worth speaking to one of our specialist team — we may be working on something that hasn't hit the market yet.Related Job Titles: Commercial Account Handler, Corporate Insurance Handler, Commercial Broker, Client Advisor – Commercial, Mid-Market Account Handler
