You will focus primarily on the nuclear sector, with a secondary focus on power generation, developing opportunities in large, complex, long cycle projects.You will engage at both technical and commercial levels with EPCs, utilities, OEMs and end users, shaping system level solutions that combine electric heaters, pressure equipment, power and control panels, and DCS / automation systems.This is a senior, customer facing role where you will act as a trusted interlocutor for EPC project directors, lead engineers and procurement/technical authorities, while coordinating internal engineering, product and project management teams to win and deliver strategic projects.What You'll DoGrow nuclear business in EuropeDevelop and manage key relationships with nuclear EPCs, utilities and OEMs, especially in UK and FranceIdentify and qualify opportunities in new build, life extension and modernisation programmesLead complex solution sellingPosition full thermal loop solutions (heaters, pressure equipment, power and control panels, DCS integration) rather than standalone productsAct as the main technical commercial contact, working closely with customer engineering and Watlow internal teamsManage the sales cycle for large projectsSupport RFQs, bids and contract negotiations for long cycle EPC and end customer projects.Coordinate with engineering, product management and project management through bid and early execution phasesDevelop secondary power generation opportunitiesUse your oil & gas experience to identify and grow projects with similar complexity and safety requirements.What you'll need to succeedExtensive experience in technical sales, business development or project commercial roles for engineered solutionsEngineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process or Automation (or equivalent experience) preferredProven background in the nuclear sector (mandatory), working with EPCs, utilities and/or OEMs supplying safetyc ritical systemsStrong technical understanding of electric heating systems, pressure equipment, power and control panels, and industrial automation / DCS architecturesAbility to discuss complete thermal loops and system architectures, not just individual productsFluent EnglishComfortable in highly regulated, safety driven environments and credible with senior stakeholders (EPC project directors, lead engineers, procurement/technical authorities)Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United KingdomWhy join Watlow's teamShape Watlow's position in nuclear and power generation across Europe, working on high impact, long term projectsCollaborate with international, cross functional teams and leverage deep engineering and innovation capabilitiesGrow your career through exposure to global customers, complex programmes and clear development opportunitiesDiversity & InclusionWe proactively embrace diversity in all its dimensions across our company and cultivate a culture of inclusion and forward thinking that respects and reflects each team member's individual strengths, views and experiences.
