If you enjoy solving real engineering challenges and seeing your designs builtAny additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply.- this is worth a look.About the Role I'm supporting a growing engineering company delivering MEICA and LV electrical design solution s across major UK water infrastructure programme s.With long-term framework commitments and a healthy pipeline across treatment works, pumping stations, network upgrades and capital maintenance projects, they're adding an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to strengthen their in-house design capability.This is an opportunity to join a highly technical, collaborative engineering team working on some of the most critical water infrastructure projects in the country.If you're motivated by solving real engineering problems and want to see your designs safely built, installed, and commissioned- this is the role for you.What You'll Be Doing Producing robust LV electrical designs for clean water and wastewater assets Completing cable sizing, fault level analysis, lighting/earthing calculations and protective device coordination Designing using AMTECH / ProDesign to the latest BS 7671 standards Creating single-line diagrams, panel schedules, load assessments and supporting documentation Working closely with in-house mechanical, ICA, civils and process engineering teams Providing technical input across FEED, detailed design, installation, and commissioning xjdpvnf Supporting design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability assessments, and client technical discussions What We're Looking For Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer , preferably with a background within the water sector, utilities, MEICA, industrial or process environments Proficiency with AMTECH/ProDesign Solid understanding of BS 7671 (18th Edition) Confident producing LV distribution designs and associated calculations Someone proactive, detail-driven, and comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary team.
