HGV Class 2 Driver IPAF East Manchester 38,00040,000 per year Full-time Permanent Driver Hire are recruiting on behalf of our client for a permanent HGV Class 2 Driver IPAF (HGV Driver with IPAF certification).Candidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully Please make your application promptly.This is a hands-on role involving multiple daily collections and deliveries.The role of our HGV Class 2 Driver IPAF includes: Salary: 38,000 per annum plus overtime (and night out allowance if required) Contract: Full-time, permanent, Approx 50 hours per week Higher rates of pay over 50-hours & for weekend work Location: Openshaw (on-site) Driving 32T beavertail (plant and access) Occasional curtain-side work (General Haulage) during quieter periods Occasional nights out if driver cover is required Work type: Multi-drop collections/deliveries, manual handling What youll be expected to do as a HGV Class 2 Driver IPAF Carry out safe, timely deliveries and collections between business premises.Complete all delivery/collection paperwork accurately.Verify load contents and follow precise instructions.Secure loads correctly and perform in-route checks.Drive safely at all times, including in heavy traffic and at occasional unsocial hours.Communicate clearly with line managers; report delays, incidents, or road issues.Conduct regular vehicle checks and report defects promptly.Keep the vehicle clean and well-presented.What were looking for Valid UK Cat C (Class 2) licence; no more than 3 penalty points.Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph; medically qualified to drive Class 2.Current IPAF certification (essential).Experience operating/loading/unloading plant and access equipment.Proven experience using GPS and routing software.Strong communication and customer service skills; calm under pressure; reliable and professional.Benefits Join a growing team with progression opportunities.Health & wellbeing scheme with treatment cover and retail discounts.Additional company benefits available. xjdpvnf If youd like to discuss our HGV Class 2 Driver IPAF before applying, call Gareth, Tia, or Lincoln between 08:0016:00, MonFri.
