The RoleWe are seeking a commercially accountable Workplace Catering Account Manager responsible for both revenue generation and growing and retaining our key workplace accounts.This is a 40/60 split role covering:New Business Development – securing new profitable workplace catering contractsKey Account Management – driving revenue growth, margin performance and client satisfaction & retentionThis role carries clear ownership of sales targets, account profitability, margin control, customer experience standards and accurate commercial administration.Core ResponsibilitiesCommercial & Revenue PerformanceDeliver against individual monthly and annual revenue targetsMaintain and grow a healthy new business pipeline with accurate forecastingNegotiate pricing structures that protect and enhance company marginsOwn gross margin performance across your account portfolioRegularly review costings, pricing models and client spend to ensure profitabilityIdentify and implement upselling and cross-selling opportunitiesDrive incremental revenue through events, seasonal activations and premium offeringsProvide accurate weekly/monthly sales forecasts and performance reportingBusiness DevelopmentIdentify and secure new profitable workplace catering contracts across LondonLead proposal development including financial modelling and margin analysisConduct client presentations and commercial negotiationsEnsure all new contracts meet required margin thresholdsAccurately document pricing, scope and contractual agreements within CRM / knowledge management systemAccount Management & GrowthAct as the commercial lead for assigned accountsConduct structured quarterly business reviews focused on revenue, margin and service performanceAnalyse account data to identify revenue expansion opportunitiesLead on the menu planning process ensuring monthly menus meet client specific requirements for variety / dietaries and quality.Retain accounts through proactive relationship management and measurable performance deliveryCustomer Experience & Service StandardsTake ownership of the overall customer experience across your account portfolioRegularly gather structured client feedback through review meetings, surveys and informal check-insMonitor satisfaction levels and identify trends impacting retention or growthWork closely with operations and site teams to ensure service standards are consistently deliveredAddress service concerns promptly, implementing corrective action plans where requiredTrack service KPIs including response times, order accuracy and presentation standardsUse feedback insights to improve menus, processes and service deliveryEscalate recurring issues and collaborate cross-functionally to implement sustainable improvementsEnsure client expectations are clearly defined, documented and consistently metAdmin & order managementEnsure all orders are processed accurately and costed correctlonRaise accurate quotes aligned with agreed pricing structuresEnsure purchase orders, invoicing and billing are completed correctly and on timeMaintain CRM accuracy including pipeline value, probability and revenue trackingTrack spend against contract value and proactively close revenue gapsSupport budgeting and annual account forecasting processesAbout YouEssential:5+ years' experience in catering, hospitality or food service salesDemonstrated track record of hitting revenue targets and protecting marginStrong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, costings and negotiationsExperience managing customer service standards within hospitality environmentsHighly numerate and confident analysing sales and margin dataExceptional organisational and administrative accuracyStrong relationship builder with a proactive, solutions-focused mindsetA genuine love of food.Desirable:Managing pipelines in HubspotManaging corporate sales processes and navigating B2B decision makingKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)New business revenue securedGross margin percentage across accountsAccount revenue growth (YoY / quarter-on-quarter)Upsell revenue contributionForecast accuracyClient retention rateCustomer satisfaction scoresService standard compliance & order accuracy rateWhat we offer:Base salary: £40-45k per annumAnnual performance related bonuses31 days annual leave (including 3 mandatory days at Christmas and bank holidays)NEST pensionDedicated personal learning allowanceFree food and drink at workFind out more about working at /careers
