In the position of Logistics Engineer you will hit the ground running at our locations in UK, Cory, Hams Hall, Kings Norton and East Midlands Gateway, become an innovative thought leader for our customers, and support our e-commerce, healthcare, and tech industries with unique intralogistics solutions and concepts with a high degree of automation. We are looking for talented individuals who enjoy international collaboration and want to be part of a growth story.Your TasksDevelop and implement end-to-end intralogistics concepts for national and international customersAdvise internal and external stakeholders, providing tailor-made logistics and automation solutionsConduct structural data analysis, material flow and space planning, and design warehouse layouts and automated systemsSupport project implementation across logistics locations across the UK, including:Supplier selectionProject coordination and managementBudget control and cost trackingPerform productivity and workforce requirement calculations (experience with the MOST technique is desirable)Collaborate with a global team of logistics planners and industrial engineers, using modern tools for data analysis, simulation, and visualisationWork closely with contractors and partners (e.g. BSR, PD, PC, Real Estate) Your ProfileDegree in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (Logistics focus), or a comparable qualificationSeveral years of experience in logistics and material flow planning, warehouse design, intralogistics automation, and project delivery (greenfield, brownfield, or optimisation projects)Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projectsProven ability to identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, including contingency planningStrong communication skills and willingness to work domestically and internationallyExcellent analytical capability, with an independent but collaborative working style and a strong customer focusUnderstanding of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, or similar)Flexibility to travel within the UK Golden Triangle and internationally as required We Offer 25 days annual leave plus 8 UK bank holidays with the option to purchase up to an additional 5 daysPension contributionA life assurance policy that pays out 4 x SalaryEmployee Assistance Programme that provides you with confidential support, information, and advice to help youEmployee Discount SchemeFree car parkingProfile description:JBRP1_UKTJ
