Energy & Sustainability LeaderShropshireSalary up to £50,000 Excellent BenefitsPermanentAre you an experienced engineer who has a passion and experience for Sustainability and delivering projects across fast paced manufacturing environments ?Or do you have experience of delivering energy and sustainability projects across multiple sites?We are working with a longstanding market leading client who are looking to add this new role to the business to help them achieve their Energy and Sustainability goals across the businessWhat you will be doing: (brief overview not an exhaustive list)EnergyIdentify, quantify and deliver Energy saving projects across the businessBe the SME for Energy efficiencies including staying up to date with technologies and policiesEducate and promote cultural change within the business regarding to energy efficiencies etcLook at continuous improvement initiatives across processes and plantHold responsibility for energy compliance across the divisionEnsure that all energy consumption is monitored and recorded accurately for reporting and budgetingNetwork and liaise with colleagues across the group to enable best practice, new and proven initiatives are implementedSustainabilityHave an inventive and entrepreneurial approach to plan strategies and concepts to increase sustainability across the groupBe the champion to push strategies for the reduction of Green House Gases (GHG) to achieve the carbon neutral targetsAnalyse and collect all data required, reporting current challenges and potential future concernsComplete awareness raising projects including training and/or demonstrationsDevelop corrective action plans where needed and implementBuild business cases calculating ROI for sustainability projectsSkills ExperienceIt is expected that you will hold engineering qualification from HNC and aboveExperience of delivering energy saving projectsProven cradle to crave project management experienceAn understanding of ISO5001 Energy Management SystemsAn understanding of utilities and energy saving technologiesAn excellent communicator able to talk to stakeholders at all levelsIf this role appeals and would like to know more contact Scott Lydon onJBRP1_UKTJ
