On behalf of Belfast City Council, we are recruiting for X5 Zoo Crew Members to be based at Belfast Zoo. Hours: 24 hours per week (including weekends and bank holidays, between 8am6pm) Rate of Pay: 13.47 Duration: Minimum 8 weeks with possible extension This role is temporary for a minimum of 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension. Main Duties: Welcome visitors, issue tickets and maps, and provide information and signposting. Operate tills, manage cash floats and complete end-of-day cash reconciliation. Act as a tour guide and conduct tours across the Zoo site. Drive Zoo vehicles to transport visitors and carry out operational duties. Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the site including litter picking, waste removal and toilet cleaning. Undertake general labouring duties including heavy lifting and moving equipment. Comply with all council policies including health 'safety and safeguarding Please note: This role involves outdoor working, walking up and down steep hills, heavy lifting and driving duties.
