Fleet Manager - Groundcare Hire Machinery We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Hire Fleet Manager to lead and develop a growing Groundcare hire operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong operational knowledge, sales ability, and a passion for machinery to take ownership of a hire fleet and drive performance.You will be responsible for managing and growing the hire business, increasing market share, and ensuring the fleet is maintained to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the Groundcare hire fleet, ensuring accurate tracking of all equipmentMaintain detailed service and maintenance recordsWork closely with internal teams to ensure all equipment is prepared and maintainedInstall and demonstrate machines to customers when requiredSupport the disposal and replacement of fleet assetsPrepare budgets and control fleet-related costsDrive hire sales, achieve targets, and maximise revenue opportunitiesUpsell services and negotiate hire rates effectivelyBuild new customer relationships and grow existing accountsTake bookings and manage customer enquiriesLiaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departmentsSupport marketing activity to keep hire materials up to dateProduce performance reports and maintain accurate recordsSkills & Experience RequiredStrong knowledge of Groundcare equipment and the industryProven sales experience with a target-driven mindsetCommercially aware with good negotiation skillsHighly organised with strong attention to detailConfident using IT systems and reporting toolsSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyProfessional and customer-focused approachFull driving licenceGood level of general fitnessTo apply, please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to alex . drury @ nmsrecruit . com or, alternatively, submit your application via the link belowImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
