Job Description Join Our Team as a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner - Stoke On Trent Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00Pay: Up to £33.30 per hour (umbrella) Location: Stoke On TrentVacancies: 3 Roles Available Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and adolescents?Staffordshire County Council is currently seeking experienced Social Workers / Senior Practitioners to join their Children's Services teams. Your Role As a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner, you will: Complete statutory Child & Family Assessments Manage a caseload of Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children Develop, implement, and review care and support plans Lead and contribute to multi-agency and safeguarding meetings Assess risk and ensure timely, effective interventions Support and mentor colleagues (Senior Practitioner level) Prepare reports and undertake court work when required Work closely with children, adolescents, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes What We're Looking For Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England Experience working within Children's Services Strong safeguarding, assessment, and decision-making skills Ability to manage complex cases confidently Senior Practitioner applicants should have experience supporting or guiding colleagues A flexible, child-focused approach to practice Why Join Staffordshire?
