Job Description 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Mixed Key Stages - South Staffordshire - Start Date: ASAP We are currently recruiting for an outstanding 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils within mainstream primary school settings across South Staffordshire regions such as: Stafford and Cannock. This is a rewarding role that involves providing tailored, one-to-one support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within a nurturing school environment. The candidate is required to have full-time availability (Monday - Friday) in order to give the child the stability of a familiar face throughout the whole week, this will be working for an agency on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to work within our lovely South Staffordshire schools, covering the regions of Stafford and Cannock. The schools in return offer fabulous support to all of the staff who work within their school. You'll be working closely alongside children who have SEN needs; this can sometimes include working with children who may have communication, interaction and sensory needs. The role may also involve providing personal care, including toileting and supporting hygiene routines, always ensuring dignity, respect, and safeguarding procedures are maintained. You will play a key role in helping pupils feel safe, understood, and fully included in school life. The role includes: Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd. Full time availability (Monday-Friday) school hours. Working in welcoming, warm school environments. Having strong support from staff within the schools that you work at. Being enthusiastic, motivated and child-centred. Is committed to raising standards and leading by example as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant. Confident and comfortable in providing personal care to a pupil if necessary. We are looking for someone who: Has recent primary experience, ideally supporting additional needs. Is enthusiastic, motivated and child-centred. Works brilliantly as part of a team - working well alongside staff members and parents within the school. Is organised, flexible and a very strong communicator. Holds a relevant NVQ Level 3. Highly committed to providing the very best of support to a child. Commute to Stafford, Cannock and South Staffordshire regions. Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
