Production Operative Conveyor Belt Workshop Screenspares Direct (SSD) Location: Coalisland Hours: 40 hours per week (3:30pm finish on Fridays) Salary: Competitive dependent on experience and suitability Screenspares Direct is recruiting a Production Operative to join our Conveyor Belt Workshop team in Coalisland. This is a hands-on role primarily operating presses used in the production of endless conveyor belts. You will support the production team to ensure belts are completed safely, efficiently and to company quality standards. There is opportunity to learn different aspects of endless belt production, with progression into belt splicing for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Operating belt presses in line with production schedules Monitoring press times, temperatures and production cycles Loading and unloading belts safely Carrying out quality checks on finished belts Completing quality control paperwork accurately Supporting general workshop duties Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Occasional site work when required Essential Criteria Reliable with good timekeeping Practical and hands-on Good attention to detail Comfortable completing basic paperwork Flexible approach to workshop and occasional site work Ability to lift medium to heavy weights Desirable Criteria Experience in a similar production, workshop or manufacturing role Forklift licence Valid CSR (Construction Skills Register) card Previous experience is beneficial but not essential full training will be provided for the right candidate.
