Make the most of our global reach to discover new challenges and work with diverse, talented individuals who will help you expand your horizons.Your New Role, Whats InvolvedAs a Senior Fire Engineer, youll typically work on a variety of projects from a university in Scotland to a high-rise residential tower in London, with many international projects. The goal is to enable innovative architectural design without compromising fire safety.Youll run through design information, liaise with other WSP disciplines (Facades, Acoustics, Structures), present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service, and help inform the design team about changes to increase building safety.You will be guided through software packages, fire standards, team briefings and client updates. The role includes support toward professional registration via IFE and other bodies, and a bespoke programme for technical and professional development, with training in the following areas:Technical report writingTeam-specific technical skillsProject management (introduction and advanced)Influential communicationsCommercial conceptsCollaborative team challengesContinuous improvementWhat Were Looking ForYou should have a BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
