This is a pivotal role, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end credit lifecyclefrom origination and inlife management to impairmentensuring our portfolio remains robust, customerfocused and commercially sound.What Youll Be DoingLead and shape the credit risk profile across our Retail Finance portfolio, ensuring alignment with our Risk and Capital parameters.Own and develop credit risk models and scorecards, driving continuous improvement and innovation.Design and oversee risk strategies that balance commercial success with customer fairness and regulatory compliance.Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including Executive Committee and Board members, with clear, datadriven insights.Chair key governance forums, including Credit Committees and monthly Credit Risk meetings.Collaborate crossfunctionally with Finance, Compliance, Marketing, and other Group functions to deliver strategic goals.Represent STB externally, building strong relationships with third parties and regulators.What Were Looking ForProven leadership in Consumer Credit Risk, with expertise in personal finance and revolving credit.Strong command of credit risk models, scorecards, and IFRS9.Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, including FCA/PRA requirements and the Senior Managers & Certification Regime.Ability to influence at all levels, from operational teams to Boardlevel stakeholders.A passion for continuous improvement and delivering value to both the business and our customers.Qualifications & ExperienceDegreelevel education or equivalent professional qualification.Demonstrable experience in a senior credit risk role within a regulated financial services environment.Our ValuesEveryone is different.
