Health Technology Appraisal (HTA) - Associate DirectorSkills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.Petauri | Bicester, England, United KingdomOverviewThe Associate Director for HTA will lead strategies on behalf of our clients to secure positive recommendations from HTA bodies in the UK and Ireland (e.g., NICE, MCS, NCPE) and Europe (e.g., EU JCA, AMNOG, TLCR, HAS). This role ensures timely and successful market access for our clients products.This position requires expertise in UK health policy, evidence generation, and stakeholder engagement, and a strong understanding of European HTA submissions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead HTA strategy and submissions.Act as a strategic partner for clients, building rapport and ensuring a deep understanding of their product portfolio and access requirements.Provide strategic advice on HTA submissions to clients and internal project teams.Guide and mentor HTA consultants, ensuring projects and proposals are delivered on time and on budget.Represent clients in HTA consultations and scientific advice meetings.Educate internal teams on HTA trends, NHS and health system policy changes, and implications for access.Identify evidence gaps and support the design of economic modelling approaches (costeffectiveness and budget impact).Oversee evidence generation: systematic literature reviews, clinical opinion, statistical analysis, and economic modelling tailored to each HTA bodys requirements.Prepare for and facilitate advisory boards and other strategy meetings to support HTA strategy development.Support the HTA Director in business planning, revenue delivery, and business development activities.Build the visibility of the Petauri HTA function internally and externally.Manage HTA consultants and contribute to the Evidence accountbased partnership approach.Lead new business opportunities and develop proposals and pitches for HTA and other Petauri services.Support marketing activities: develop thought leadership articles, contribute to webinars, and participate in conferences.Ensure timely completion of project paperwork and maintain organized project folders.Communicate effectively with line manager and project teams during normal working hours.Functional LeadershipDeputise for the HTA Director as required and support business planning.Model valuesbased leadership and provide matrix and/or line management to HTA consultants.Stay current with new HTA trends and policy.Contribute to the Evidence accountbased partnership strategy.Key AttributesTeam player with inclusive collaboration.Strong attention to detail and organised approach.Creative, selfmotivated, and proactive.Effective communication and presentation skills.Ability to analyse problems and offer solutions.Flexible and able to prioritise work under changing circumstances.Passion for continuous learning and professional development.BenefitsBonus plan (not contractual)Annual holidays: 25 days increasing to 28 after 2 years.1Volunteer Day and Birthday holiday (unless in notice period)Christmas close: 3 days not taken from leave allowanceCompany pension contribution 5%; employee minimum 4% (uncapped max with Standard Life)Sick leave 10 days FTE (or 2 working weeks for PT) per annumMaternity & Adoption Leave 3months full pay, 3months half pay, 3months statutory, 3months unpaid.Paternity Leave 3 weeks full pay.Death in service: 4 annual salary.Employee Assistance Programme.Group Income Protection 70% of base pay + pension for up to 2years.Docking station and screen for home to support hybrid working.Monthly local social activities & annual Christmas party.Support with personal development and professional qualification training.Salary Sacrifice Schemes (OptIn)Group Private Medical Insurance for self/family.Cycletowork scheme. xjdpvnf Electric Vehicle Scheme after 2 years service.Seniority levelMidSenior levelEmployment typeFulltimeJob functionHealth Care Provider Pharmaceutical ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Petauri by 2.
