If so, wed love to hear from you at AECOM. You will work daily with technical experts within our Environmental Impact (EIA) team across the UK and Ireland. We are a founding member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) EIA Quality Mark and align with our ESG strategy. We offer flexible hybrid working and multiple office locations in the UK and Ireland.What youll doProvide Expertise: As a Principal Environmental Consultant, manage environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements (and future Environmental Outcomes Reports) and supporting documents. Include technical review of specialist chapters. Involve across project life stages from strategy and site identification through feasibility, option selection, outline and detailed design, conditions discharge, construction and operation/maintenance. Work across a portfolio of development projects with multiple consenting regimes (DCO, TCPA, TWA, hybrid Bill, etc.).Ensure Quality: Ensure deliverables meet high quality standards and comply with rigorous quality management procedures.Project Management: Apply project management skills to effectively manage resources and budgets (with support as applicable).Collaborate: Work within integrated design teams to improve environmental outcomes, identify constraints, mitigation solutions and opportunities to deliver benefits.Client Contact: Manage client relationships and internal supply teams.Growth: Promote AECOMs environmental services to internal and external audiences and lead business development opportunities and fee/technical proposal development.QualificationsReady to push the limits of whats possible?To apply, demonstrate experience in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure development projects. You should also have:Experience of providing consultancy servicesExcellent understanding of EIA processes, environmental assessment methods and applicable planning legislationDetailed understanding of relevant consenting and licensing regimesConfidence engaging with diverse stakeholder groupsAbility to work collaboratively within a team, coordinating inputs from specialist technical teamsExcellent verbal and report writing skills, including technical reviewingProject management skills, including programming, staff resource management and budgetingDegree in a relevant environmental discipline (Masters preferred) and appropriate professional membershipWillingness to travelThe following would be a bonus:Chartered Environmentalist statusInterest in line management duties and staff mentoringExperience of the DCO and/or TWAO consenting regimesAbout AECOMAECOM is the worlds trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services from advisory and planning to design, engineering, program and construction management.
