We are looking for talented Associate Directorlevel BIM/Digital professionals to work on a wide variety of exciting projects/programmes and support the leadership of our ambitious growth plans.ApproachForward thinkingCareful planningShared understandingTransparency and collaborationIndependent and open methodologyWe work holistically with our wider business to provide an environment for innovation and deliver success on projects where BIM is core to the delivery and operation of assets.BIM ProcessDiscovery and understandingClient adoption strategy and strategic project setupProject and programme BIM execution planningBIM implementation, information management and supply chain managementBIM compliance checking and data verificationThe OpportunityThe individual will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team delivering and implementing BIM from strategy level to project level for global clients and support the growth of our regional team.DutiesCapture client requirements and develop a BIM strategy to meet those requirementsAuthor key BIM documentation and workflows aligned to industry best practiceLead and manage the rollout and implementation of the above within a client organisation, across a programme of works and at project levelCommunicate the BIM strategy, documentation & workflows to stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate digital riskLead/Manage digital transformation and strategyInterface with clients, design teams and contractors implementing BIM methodologies and best practice from strategy level through to project deliveryFacilitate stakeholder meetings & workshopsWrite detailed reportsPeerreview work produced by colleagues to maintain Turner & Townsend quality measuresSupport colleagues with project deliverablesContribute to the development and maintenance of Turner & Townsend BIM documentation and processesUndertake research and development of emerging technologiesProvide commission management and oversightPlay a leading role in the achievement of team objectivesLead & manage a team, when neededStay abreast of developments within own technical area of expertiseWork with Directors to construct bids for new workProvide direction to staff on specific tasksAct as a role model for less experienced staffTake a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stagesTake responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clientsIdentify and act upon crossselling opportunitiesKnowledge managementAct as an ambassador championing the digital services delivered by Turner & TownsendQualificationsConsultancy background with experience of the design process and procurement routes within a relevant industryStrong understanding of BIM industry standards and best practiceGood understanding of the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders within a project environmentSystematic approach to problem solvingPreferably educated to degree level or with sufficient demonstrable workplace experience to satisfy the requirements of the roleDesign and Construction background; understanding handover of BIM and the operational phase of built assets desirableBIM / Technology / SoftwareUnderstanding of emerging technology market that can support our clients & deliveryWorking knowledge of the standards ISO19650 (BIM) and international BIM standardsUnderstanding of roles and responsibilities relevant to a BIMenabled projectWorking knowledge of the creation and maintenance of key BIM documentationWorking knowledge of a common data environmentWorking knowledge of 3D modelling software such as Revit or ArchiCADWorking knowledge of 3D model interrogation and clash detection software such as Solibri or NavisworksUnderstanding of dashboard software such as PowerBI or TableauInquisitive nature to research and learn new software skillsPersonal SkillsAbility to work independently & be selfmotivatedAbility to work in a diverse skilled teamAbility to define & write BIM strategies and implementation plansClear communication skills to all project stakeholdersAbility to lead project meetingsPresentation skillsWorkshop skillsAbility to lead and contribute to team meetings and discussionsInquisitive natureMethodical approach to delivering tasksConfidence in challenging othersAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
