Divisional Operations DirectorFixed term contract – 6 to 12 monthsBand 8D – £91,342 to £105,337CornwallA Cornwall NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a Divisional Operations Director to provide executive operational leadership across one of its major clinical divisions.This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for delivering operational performance, financial sustainability, workforce effectiveness, and service transformation across complex acute hospital services.The Trust serves a population of over 570,000 people across three hospital sites and is delivering an ambitious transformation programme, including major capital investment and service redesign.Key responsibilities include:Leading operational delivery across a major clinical divisionDelivering performance against access, quality, and financial targetsLeading service transformation and operational improvement programmesManaging divisional budgets and financial sustainabilityLeading senior operational teams and workforce planningWorking closely with clinical leaders, executive colleagues, and system partnersThis role requires an experienced senior operational leader with:Existing Divisional Director experience or equivalent senior NHS operational leadership experienceStrong track record of delivering operational performance improvementExperience managing complex healthcare services and budgetsExperience delivering transformation and service redesignAbility to work effectively with executive, clinical, and system partnersThis is an excellent opportunity to play a critical leadership role within a major NHS Trust undergoing significant transformation.
