The Role Founder & CEO Samuel Douek has built HOWL from a DIY rave into an investor-backed brand with real traction. He leads brand vision, creative direction, and partnerships. Now we are hiring a Founding CMO to own growth, revenue strategy, and marketing infrastructure. This role reports directly to the CEO and sits on the executive leadership team. You will define and build HOWL’s commercial growth engine across product, retail, and experiential channels. What You’ll Own Growth Strategy Define the full-funnel growth strategy across DTC, retail, and experiential. Unit Economics & Performance Own CAC, LTV, contribution margin, retention, repeat purchase rate, and payback discipline. Channel Architecture Build and scale paid, organic, CRM, influencer, partnerships, and community-led acquisition. Brand x Revenue Integration Turn events and cultural moments into a scalable acquisition channel. Commercial Growth, Retail Marketing & Sell-Through Support on sales, drive velocity in retail accounts and align launch strategy with wholesale expansion. Performance Reporting Discipline Build dashboards, forecasting discipline, and marketing ROI clarity pre- and post-Seed. Team Build (Post-Seed) Hire and develop the first in-house growth team.
