Working on night shift as part of a lineside support team, you will play a key role in supporting production, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement across machining operations.This role is ideal for a Manufacturing Engineer or NC Programmer who enjoys hands-on problem solving in a live production environment and thrives in a collaborative, engineering-led setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide lineside support within a manufacturing station environmentDefine and develop NC programs in line with Engineering and Manufacturing specificationsSupport the specification of jigs and tooling, including numerical simulationsValidate, optimise and test NC programs prior to releaseIntegrate NC programs via DNC systems or directly on machinesSupport demonstration tests alongside Production, Quality and Work Preparation teamsProduce supporting technical documentation including instruction sheets and simulationsContribute to continuous improvement and longer-term efficiency projectsAbout YouMinimum NVQ Level 4 / HNC (or equivalent)Background in Manufacturing Engineering or NC ProgrammingExperience working in a production or shop-floor support environmentPrevious experience using CATIA and SAP is highly desirableUnderstanding of aircraft or complex assembly build philosophy is advantageousComfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing settingApplyIf you are an experienced NC Programmer looking for a well-paid nightshift contract within an aircraft manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you.Apply now with your CV and a consultant will be in touch.
