The role provides hands-on experience in core HR activities while working towards a recognised HR qualification.The apprentice will receive structured training, mentoring, and study time to supportcompletion of their HR qualification. They will gain experience across the full employee lifecycle and develop a strong foundation for a future career in HR.Main duties principal responsibilitiesDuties/responsibilities (in order of priority) -Employee lifecycle administrationMaintaining employee records, preparing contracts and letters, and supporting probation,training, and exit processes.HR systems and dataUpdating HR databases, ensuring accuracy of employee information, and producing basicreports when required.Employee relations supportTaking notes in meetings, preparing documentation, and supporting the HR team withcasework under supervision.Training and developmentHelping coordinate training sessions, tracking attendance, and supporting learninginitiatives.General HR supportResponding to routine HR queries, supporting projects, and contributing to continuousimprovement activities.Staff have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others who maybe affected by their actions at work.Staff must co-operate, report unsafe conditions and comply with the companymanagement systems and safe systems of work as well as co-workers to help everyone meet their legal requirements.Person specificationSkills:Strong communication skills and aprofessional, confidential approach. Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.Good organisational skills with the abilityto prioritise tasks.Attention to detail and accuracy inadministrative work.Willingness to learn and develop withinthe HR profession.Ability to work well with colleagues at alllevels.ExperienceInterest in pursuing a CIPD qualification(Level 3 or equivalent).No prior HR experience required, but aninterest in people-focused work is essential.QualificationsGCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathTPBN1_UKTJ
