Location: Omagh Salary: Competitive (DOE) Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week Benefits: Laptop & Mobile Phone Provided About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Buyer to join our procurement team. This role involves sourcing a wide range of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient purchasing processes across construction projects. A background in the construction industry is essential. Key Responsibilities Source and procure materials, goods, and services from approved suppliers Process purchase orders and set up new suppliers Prepare enquiries and support the development of the supply chain Purchase general site materials from a range of suppliers Issue purchase orders and manage order updates within the system Upload delivery dockets and invoices as required Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier price lists Undertake training to maintain current knowledge relevant to the role Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience in a construction purchasing or procurement role Third-level qualification in a construction-related discipline Experience with integrated accounts or procurement software (desirable) Strong administration skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail Confident communication skills and professional telephone manner Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build supplier relationships Team player with strong organisational ability and ability to prioritise deadlines Proactive, self-motivated, and able to use initiative Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to travel to Head Office when required Right to work in the UK Benefits Competitive salary Pension scheme Holiday entitlement increasing with service (up to 35 days) Private health scheme and cash plan Group life assurance Length of service bonus Company uniform Training and development opportunities INDPMD Skills: buyer purchasing construction civils
