CNC MillerKnaresborough, £18ph inclusive of shift allowance, 25 days holiday.Immediate opportunities are available for a skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company in Knaresborough. You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce complex, high-quality parts to meet strict standards. As the CNC Setter Operator you will:Set and run CNC MillersUndertake tool changes, offsets and program editingProduce components to production deadlinesWork to tight tolerances and strict quality standards (AS9001 & ISO 13485)Working a rotational shift of earlies and lates as follows:6am - 2PM Monday - Thursday, 12.30 finish on Fridays 2pm to 12.30am Mon- Wed 2pm - 10.30pm Thurs, Fridays offAs the CNC Miller you will::Ideally be apprentice trained and hold a relevant qualificationHave confident CNC setting and operating experienceHave experience of producing prototypes and first-offs to drawingsIdeally have worked in a variety of materials including polymers and metalHave experience with modern quality control standards and measurement of partsHave experience of working to tight tolerancesHave the ability to select, set and change machine toolsAny experience of 5 Axis or mill turn machines would be of great interestHave working knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain would be advantageousProgramming experience is preferred but not essential.
