Role: Technical Sales Manager Location: Wolverhampton/Home basedSalary: Up to £40,000 Depending on experienceWe are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in industrial pump sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing key accounts, and delivering engineered pump solutions to customers across a range of sectors.Responsibilities include:Identify and secure new business opportunities within target industriesManage and grow existing customer accountsProvide technical consultation on pump selection and system designInterpret customer requirements, technical drawings, and specificationsPrepare detailed quotations, proposals, and tender submissionsConduct site visits and application surveysWork closely with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate specification and project deliveryNegotiate pricing and contracts to achieve revenue and margin targetsMaintain accurate CRM records and sales forecastsMonitor competitor activity and market trendsSkills and Experience:Proven track record in technical sales within pump systems, generator sales, or related mechanical equipmentStrong understanding of fluid handling systems, power generation equipment, or associated mechanical productsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExperience preparing detailed quotations and tendersCommercial awareness with strong negotiation skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyFull driving licenceWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
