We are looking for compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistants to join our growing team.You will mostly work independently in service users homes, delivering unrushed, person-centred care that protects dignity, promotes independence, and enhances wellbeing.Your Key ResponsibilitiesYou will:Provide safe, compassionate personal careFollow individual care support plansSupport with medication administrationAssist with meals, nutrition, and hydrationHelp with mobility and moving & handling equipmentProvide domestic support and light housekeepingEncourage social interaction and companionshipSupport service users during hospital visits or end-of-life careRecord care accurately and report concerns immediatelyFollow safeguarding and confidentiality policies at all timesMandatory Training & CertificationsTo ensure safe, high-quality care, you must have or be willing to obtain the following training:Care Certificate (mandatory training)Manual Handling / Moving & HandlingPersonal Care TrainingSafeguarding AdultsBasic Life Support / First AidInfection Prevention & ControlMedication Administration TrainingPositive Behaviour Support (PBS) where applicableMental Capacity Act (MCA) & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)Full support and training will be provided where needed.Personal Care Duties IncludeBathing, showering, dressing, groomingToileting and continence careOral careUsing hoists, standing aids, wheelchairs, and other equipment safelySkills, Experience & Abilities RequiredTo succeed in this role, you must:Be kind, patient, and dependableHave excellent communication skillsBe able to work alone with confidenceShow strong organisation and time management skillsUnderstand the importance of dignity, respect, and safeguardingBe willing to learn and developQualificationsLevel 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (preferred)Care Certificate (or willingness to complete)Previous care experience is desirable but not essential full training providedAdditional InformationCommunity-based role travel between service users homes requiredMay include evening, weekend, and out-of-hours shiftsFull UK right to work requiredEnhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain)TPBN1_UKTJ
