Paediatric Clinical Lead Location: Covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, London, Surrey, Kent, Sussex and Hampshire Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 Working Pattern: Hybrid with regional travel Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Contract: Full time, permanent We are recruiting a Paediatric Clinical Lead to join a well established, nurse led community complex care provider delivering specialist packages to children with high acuity needs across the South East and East of England. This is a senior clinical leadership opportunity focused primarily on paediatric community packages, offering regional exposure and structured progression within a growing organisation. The Role As Paediatric Clinical Lead, you will take ownership of clinical governance and oversight across multiple community based paediatric packages. You will ensure safe mobilisation, workforce competency and consistently high clinical standards across services. You will work closely with families, case managers, ICBs and multidisciplinary teams to stabilise and develop complex care packages. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical oversight of paediatric complex care packages in the communityCompletion of comprehensive assessments, care plans and structured clinical reviewsSafe mobilisation of new high acuity packagesDelivery of clinical training and competency sign off for nurses and healthcare assistantsOngoing governance of tracheostomy, ventilation and advanced clinical interventionsLiaison with families, MDTs and commissionersSafeguarding escalation and risk managementParticipation in audits and quality improvement initiativesSupporting outcome focused care and dependency reduction where appropriateClinical Experience RequiredRegistered Childrens Nurse (RSCN or RN Child) with active NMC PINMinimum 3 years UK paediatric experience within complex or community careRecent hands on experience with tracheostomy and ventilation within the last 2 yearsLeadership, senior nurse or supervisory experienceExperience working alongside case managers, commissioners or ICB teamsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionallyWhat You Will Receive£55,000 £60,000 salary depending on experienceHybrid working structure33 days annual leavePrivate pension schemeCompany mobile phone and laptopOngoing CPD and structured developmentClear progression into regional clinical leadership rolesThis Paediatric Clinical Lead opportunity offers autonomy, senior responsibility and the ability to shape high quality paediatric complex care services across multiple counties within a stable, nurse led organisation.
