What you will do: Recruit, train, assess, supervise, and support foster carers in providing exceptional care. Deliver a supportive and efficient service to children, young people, and fostering families, ensuring their needs are professionally assessed. Liaise with other agencies and organisations to support care plans and foster carers effectively. Conduct thorough assessments, ensuring a holistic view of each child's developmental needs. Maintain casework in compliance with statutory requirements, fostering regulations, and Council policies. Participate in recruitment, assessment, training, and ongoing development of foster carers. Attend panels, conferences, reviews, and court as required, presenting Council plans professionally. Prepare and submit detailed reports, identifying areas for service enhancements. Represent the team at various meetings and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Additional Information: Enhanced DBS check required. Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use essential to reach locations within and outside the borough.
