We are recruiting 2 qualified Bus & Coach Engineers (PCV Engineers) to join a busy engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced vehicle engineers looking for stable, full-time work within a professional workshop environment.The successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a PCV Engineer and will play a key role in maintaining and servicing a fleet of buses to the highest safety and operational standards.Position: Bus & Coach Engineer / PCV EngineerReporting to: Assistant Engineering ManagerShift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off rotaHours:12:00 00:00 or18:00 06:00Average of 42 hours per week over 5 daysPay:£22.55 per hourEnhanced night rate: Additional £5.00 per hour between 00:00 06:00Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out daily maintenance on a fleet of buses and coachesComplete vehicle inspections and safety checksDiagnose mechanical and electrical faultsUndertake repairs and defect rectificationPrepare and present vehicles for annual MOT testingAttend roadside breakdowns and carry out necessary repairsPerform general servicing and preventative maintenanceEnsure running defects are identified and corrected promptlyWork effectively within a busy workshop environmentCandidate RequirementsMinimum 2 years experience as a PCV / Bus & Coach EngineerProven experience in vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairsAbility to work independently and as part of an engineering teamComfortable working a 4 on / 4 off shift rota, including night shiftsAble to work under pressure in a fast-paced workshop settingThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Bus & Coach Engineer or PCV Technician seeking long-term, well-paid shift work with enhanced night rates and a structured rota.JBRP1_UKTJ
