Job description: Production Supervisor / Team Leader Staffpower Group are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor / Team Leader to manage a small team manufacturing a range of products within our growing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business experiencing significant expansion, with real scope for progression. The Role This is a practical, shop-floor-based role where you will lead from the front. You will be actively involved in daily production activities while supervising and motivating your team to achieve realistic output targets. Key Duties & Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Operations Manager Managing and motivating a small production team Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety requirements Monitoring production processes and reacting to demand and schedules Connecting IBCs of chemicals to mixing units Operating presses and feeding with moulds and formers Carrying out daily and weekly quality checks using various methods Liaising with purchasing to manage raw material rotation and ordering Performing routine maintenance on plant and machinery Logging daily production data and performance About You Hands-on leader who is willing to muck in with the team Physically fit (role involves lifting typically two-person lifts) Comfortable working with chemicals (non-hazardous but can be messy) Able to motivate a team to meet targets Organised, proactive, and able to react to changing production needs Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred Salary & Benefits 30,000 basic (includes Team Leader allowance) Base production rate currently 12.82 per hour (rising in line with minimum wage increases) Higher salary may be considered for the right candidate Growing department with long-term opportunities Start Date ASAP Hours Monday to Friday - day shift Job Types: Full-time, Permanent TPBN1_UKTJ
