Roving Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) | Central London 40,000 + Travel Card (Zones 1-3) | Occasional travel in Van Commercial Building Maintenance | Monday-Friday Are you a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied roving role across Central London? GH Engage are currently recruiting for a Roving Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to cover a portfolio of commercial sites across Central London . This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated engineer who enjoys autonomy, client interaction, and working across multiple buildings. Key Responsibilities: Travel between sites predominantly on foot, with occasional use of company van. Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance. Maintenance on lighting (general & emergency), power supplies, circuits, and control panels. Manage your workload effectively via PDA, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed SLAs. Carry out weekly compliance checks including fire alarm testing and L8 water hygiene tasks (tap temperature monitoring, flushing, etc.). Undertake general mechanical and fabric maintenance as required. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and building managers. Attend reactive breakdowns and carry out efficient fault finding. Package: 40,000 per annum Travel Card (Zones 1-3) Van & fuel card On call stand-by allowance; 50/week Monday to Friday working hours Stable commercial portfolio Opportunity to work autonomously across multiple Central London sites Essential Experience & Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Experience within commercial building maintenance environments. Strong fault-finding ability and client-facing skills. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
