Complex Needs KeyworkerPay: £24,420.00-£25,600.00 per yearJob Description:Essential RequirementsExperience working with individuals with complex needs or within homelessness servicesExperience completing assessments and identifying needs and riskKnowledge of homelessness pathways and external support servicesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage workload and prioritise effectively without close supervisionAccurate record keeping and data entry skillsAbility to build professional, non judgemental relationshipsUnderstanding of factors contributing to homelessnessKnowledge of substance misuse, offending behaviours, mental and physical healthCommitment to safeguarding, health and safety, equality and data protectionThe RoleThis role sits within an award winning homelessness project delivering short term supported accommodation to individuals and couples experiencing homelessness and complex needs.As a Complex Needs Keyworker, you will provide housing management and trauma informed, person centred support to residents. The focus is on breaking the cycle of repeat homelessness and supporting individuals to move towards sustainable independent living.You will:Deliver one to one keywork sessions and facilitate group activitiesDevelop and review personalised support and risk management plansComplete referrals, needs assessments and dynamic risk assessmentsAddress behaviours to prevent eviction using trauma informed approachesSupport residents to build life skills and prepare for move onLiaise with external agencies to coordinate multi agency supportAttend and contribute to multi agency meetingsManage safeguarding concerns and de escalate incidentsComplete housing management duties including welfare checks, building checks and reporting repairsMaintain clear, factual and timely case recordsSupport residents to understand licence agreements, rights and responsibilitiesSuccess in this role will be measured by positive resident engagement, meaningful support plans, safe move on outcomes and clear evidence of impact through accurate records.BenefitsOpportunity to work within an award winning homelessness serviceOngoing training and professional developmentRegular supervision and team supportMeaningful role with measurable community impactComplianceEnhanced DBS required.Full right to work in the UK required.This role involves working with vulnerable adults and safeguarding responsibilities apply.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentWork Location: In person
