CareerMakers Recruitment are seeking an manual/CNC lathe machinist For our client based in Cross Hills, BD20. We are looking for someone with the relevant experience in the following: Programming, setting, and operating a range of CNC machines (in particular Doosan HM630 and Trevisan 31i) Accurately setting machines right first time Carrying out self - inspection of work to ensure quality Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Suggesting and implementing improvements to existing machining techniques Maintaining alignment with company core values Supporting and mentoring apprentices Carrying out any other tasks in line with your skills and experience as needed Skills: Proven CNC machining experience Able to programme using Fanuc Strong understanding of Health & Safety and workplace standards Knowledge and adherence to ISO 9001:2015 compliance Understanding of 5S methodology Good communication and timekeeping A team player with a positive attitude Self - motivated and proactive Flexible and open to change Committed to quality and continuous improvement Aligned with our workplace values and behaviours Working hours: Flex times (Mon - Fri) 6am - 3pm OR 7am - 4pm OR 8am - 5pm Half day every Friday Salary : Up to 35,226 per annum If you are interested in the role, and have the relevant experience please apply with your CV or give us a call on 01942 834 107 .
