Construction Manager Clean Water Infrastructure Location: North West England | Permanent Role I am working with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering essential clean water projects across the North West. We're looking for a hands-on Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of mains renewal and network upgrade schemes, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of exciting, technically challenging projects while leading and developing site teams in a supportive, safety-first environment. What You'll Be Doing Oversee day-to-day site operations, including slip lining, open cut, pipe bursting, and other mains renewal techniques Lead and manage engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality, defect-free works Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance across all sites Review and challenge design drawings to ensure constructability and cost-effectiveness Manage schedules, plant, materials, and site logistics Promote a collaborative, high-performing site culture with continuous improvement About You SMSTS or equivalent certification Strong knowledge of SHE and site safety best practices Experience delivering high-volume mains renewal or clean water construction projects Familiarity with NEC contracts Valid UK driving licence Confident, hands-on leader capable of managing multidiscipline teams What's on Offer Permanent, full-time role with real career progression Competitive salary and benefits package Company car/fuel card or salary sacrifice EV/hybrid options Private healthcare and health care cash plan Contributory pension scheme TPBN1_UKTJ
