Overhead Crane Operator Monday to Thursday/ 7am - 4pm & Friday 6am - 3pm 13.50 - 14.00 per hour (Must have an external in-date Overhead Crane Licence) We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cranes and other heavy machinery to lift, move, and position materials and equipment safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities Operate cranes to lift, move, and position loads as per project specifications. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Collaborate with ground crew members to coordinate lifts and ensure safe operations. Maintain accurate records of materials handled and movements performed. Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues promptly. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during operations. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials in warehouse settings as needed. Engage in materials handling tasks, including digging and building as required. Requirements Proven experience as a Crane Operator Strong mechanical knowledge Familiarity with materials handling processes, warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving.
