Van Driver Sandy, Bedfordshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Sandy, Bedfordshire . Shifts Monday to Friday Start times between 05:30 and 07:00 Rates of Pay 12.21 per hour Guaranteed 8 hours per day Benefits As a Van Driver , you will receive: Guaranteed 8 hours per day Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Immediate starts available Holiday accrued Day-to-Day Duties As a Van Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to): Operating and driving various 3.5-tonne vehicles safely and efficiently Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is correctly loaded and secured Adhering to UK traffic laws and company procedures Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements Assisting with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills To be successful as a Van Driver , you will need: Valid UK Category B driving licence Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category B vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor offences Good knowledge of the UK road network Ability to speak and read a good level of English Excellent punctuality and timekeeping Strong understanding of UK road traffic laws Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving commercial vehicles Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided Full industry-related training and ongoing support Apply If you are interested in this opportunity as a Van Driver , please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
