Gas Competent Person (CP) - MoD Woodbridge 1-2 Days per Week | Now until 22 December 2026 We are seeking an experienced Gas Competent Person (CP) with strong gas network experience to support a project at MoD Woodbridge. This is a part-time role, required 1-2 days per week from now until 22 December 2026. This position is ideal for someone with proven experience in gas networks, quality assurance, and compliance, particularly within regulated or defence environments. Key Responsibilities Conduct quality assurance and compliance checks on a new LPG gas network installation Liaise with Amey, subcontractors, and on-site stakeholders Attend site progress meetings to provide technical input and updates Review safety documentation, ensuring all requirements are met and fully compliant Essential Requirements Relevant EUSR SCO qualifications Demonstrable gas network experience in a similar competency or assurance role BPSS clearance, or the ability to obtain it Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Desirable Experience Experience working within a defence environment Familiarity with NEC contracts Understanding of LPG systems and associated compliance standards What We Offer Part time commitment: 1-2 days per week Contract running until 22 December 2026 Competitive day rate Opportunity to work on a key defence related infrastructure project What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
