Principal Landscape Architect - WhitwickWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryHybrid workingCompany carBonus schemeThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead on meaningful, longterm environmental and restoration initiatives within a respected and forwardthinking organisation.The Land and Mineral Resources (LMR) Department is a multidisciplinary team responsible for managing property and mineral resources across all UK business divisions. Our remit covers the procurement of land and mineral reserves, securing the permits needed to operate effectively, and providing specialist expertise across a range of technical disciplines. These include land management, planning, restoration and aftercare, mineral resource assessment, quarry and tip design, and geotechnical matters.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Principal Landscape Architect will be responsible for:Coordinating the provision of landscape architecture services within a designated geographic areaLiaising with operational management on all landscaperelated issuesProducing and contributing to extraction schemes in partnership with geologists and engineering geologistsDesigning costeffective restoration and aftercare proposalsMaintaining uptodate cost estimates for the implementation of restoration schemesProviding advice on restoration implementation, including contract specificationsAdvising on aftercare requirements and best practiceContributing to development proposals, planning applications, and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs)Providing guidance on ecological and habitat mattersSecuring permits or authorisations for the management or translocation of protected species and habitatsInstructing and managing external consultantsPreparing and managing submissions for restoration and biodiversity awardsMaintaining and implementing agreed systems and reporting requirements to GroupWhy Join us?At Heidelberg Materials, we don''t just offer jobs-we build careers.
