This role plays a vital part in the assembly of high-quality mechanical structures and cabinets, contributing directly to the company's reputation for precision and reliability.If you take pride in producing high-standard work, enjoy hands-on fabrication, and thrive in a team that values continuous improvement, this could be an excellent fit!The RoleYou will be responsible for cutting, joining, and assembling metal components using a range of welding techniques. Working with both manual and semi automatic equipment, you'll ensure assemblies are produced accurately, safely, and efficiently.Key tasks include:Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and measurementsSelecting the correct welding method and equipment for each jobSetting up and aligning components for weldingPerforming MIG/TIG welding on a variety of metalsCutting materials using powered saws to match specificationsMaintaining equipment to ensure safe operationFollowing production schedules and Work to ListsCompleting internal Work Orders accurately via the company ERP systemSupporting general production activities when requiredMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised work areaThis list is not exhaustive; duties may evolve in line with business needs.About YouYou'll bring a strong work ethic, a steady hand, and a commitment to producing quality work.
