IT Support Engineer | Liverpool | 35,000 - 40,000 + BenefitsApply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.Zachary Daniels are partnering with a fast-growing retail and e-commerce business to recruit an IT Support & Systems Engineer.This is a key on-site role, responsible for owning day-to-day IT support and systems management across head office, retail, and warehouse operations. You'll act as the primary internal IT contact, working closely with the Technology Manager and third-party providers to ensure technology supports performance, security, and future growth.The role combines hands-on user support with broader infrastructure, cloud, and security exposure, making it ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, and continuous improvement in a scaling business environment.What's on Offer:35,000-40,000 basic salaryOn-site role, Monday-FridayExposure to cloud, infrastructure, and security projectsHigh ownership and visibility across the businessLong-term growth within a scaling retail and e-commerce environmentKey Responsibilities:Provide 1st and 2nd line support across MacOS and Windows devicesTroubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and access issuesManage onboarding and offboarding of users, devices, and permissionsSupport retail, warehouse, and head office teams with varying technical needsAdminister Microsoft 365 and drive user adoption of internal standardsImplement controls aligned with AI usage policies and data loss preventionAdminister Entra ID including users, groups, roles, and conditional accessManage Intune for device compliance, configuration profiles, and application deploymentSupport full device lifecycle management including builds, refreshes, and decommissioningOversee endpoint protection and anti-virus managementSupport hybrid cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and SharePointAssist with firewall and network troubleshooting alongside managed service providersMonitor systems and respond to alerts appropriatelyImprove security posture, resilience, and scalabilityEnsure effective data backup, archiving, and retention processesDocument and test disaster recovery proceduresWork closely with third-party vendors and managed service providers xjdpvnf Raise, track, and manage support tickets with external partnersEscalate vendor performance concerns where requiredWhat We're Looking For:Experience in IT Support, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Support rolesStrong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and IntuneExperience supporting both MacOS and Windows environmentsExposure to Azure or hybrid cloud infrastructureSolid networking fundamentals and troubleshooting capabilityComfortable operating independently as the primary on-site IT contactStrong customer service mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approachOrganised and capable of managing priorities in a fast-moving environmentApply today with your most up-to-date CV.BH35446
