Previous experience in residential childcare support worker role is desirable but not essential.Residential childcare Support workerWorking shift pattern of 3 on 3 off day shifts 7am - 7.30pm on a rolling rota basisResidential childcare support workerKey ResponsibilitiesSupport Daily Activities: Assist young person with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.Emotional Support: Build positive relationships with young person, providing emotional support and guidance to help them develop self-esteem and independence.Supervision and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of young person by supervising their activities and adhering to safeguarding policies.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of young person' progress, incidents, and any significant changes in behaviour or health.Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, social workers, and families to create and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.Key Skills Required.
