Due to open in the next month, we are looking for kind, energetic and down-to-earth Support Workers to join us from the very start.This service will support three adults with autism and epilepsy, who can at times display challenging behaviour. They are active, sociable people who love getting out and about and being part of their local community.Service User InterestsThe people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences, including:SwimmingSkittles and leisure activitiesGoing out shoppingSpending time in the communityThe best part. Everything is within walking distance, so this is a really hands-on, active role not one where youre stuck indoors all day.Support is provided 24 hours a day, including day shifts and waking night shifts.The RoleYou will:As a Support Worker, youll be: Building positive, trusting relationshipsSupporting people with daily living and personal goalsEncouraging independence and choiceSupporting individuals to access activities they enjoyWorking in line with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)Supporting with health needs and medication (full training provided)This is a role where you really get to know the people you support and see the difference you make every day.Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plansAssist with daily living skills and personal care where requiredPromote independence, dignity, and wellbeingSupport activities, appointments, and community accessMaintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a teamWork on a rotaWho Were Looking ForWere seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach.
