This leading manufacturing company, are looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join their well established team!Salary: 50,000Location: SheffieldHours: Monday to Friday days and aftersBenefits:Work with family feel businessOvertime available at higher rates4x life assuranceMonday to Friday workWestfield HealthcareReward and Recognition schemeDiscretionary bonus reviewDuties of a Senior Maintenance Engineer:Attending to PPMs and breakdowns on a daily basis as this is a hands on roleHelping develop and implement current PPM systemEnsuring safe systems of work are followed at all times, including permit-to-work and isolation procedures.e.Acting as technical lead during major breakdowns to minimise production downtime.Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) on repeat failures and implementing corrective actions.Supporting and leading capital projects, refurbishments, and equipment upgrades.Managing external contractors and service providers when required.Supporting development of maintenance apprentices and junior engineers.Ensuring maintenance documentation, asset history, and CMMS systems are kept up to date.Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve OEE, reliability, and maintenance cost control.Desired experience of Senior Maintenance Engineer:You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds Apprentice trained)It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essentialIdeally have 3 years+ experience within in a Senior/ Lead maintenance position outside of apprenticeshipMust have worked within a heavy manufacturing maintenance background previouslyIdeally have experience of working within Forging environment previouslMust have the good work ethic, someone who can work independently and within a team environment as well as natural leadership qualitiesFor further details please contact Beth Roberts or Jake Shaw at Elevation.REFER A FRIEND!
