This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced H&S professional from recycling, waste, or another technical/industrial environment.Key responsibilities include:Leading health & safety strategy and ensuring compliance with UK legislation and industry standardsConducting risk assessments, site inspections, and safety/environmental auditsDeveloping and maintaining safe systems of work and method statementsInvestigating incidents and near-misses and implementing improvementsDelivering H&S training, inductions, and toolbox talksLiaising with regulators and overseeing COSHH, PPE, and health surveillanceRequirements:NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma preferred)3-5 years' experience in a H&S management role within a technical or industrial settingStrong knowledge of H&S legislation including WEEE, RIDDOR, PUWER, and COSHHDetails:Full-time, permanentMonday-Friday, 07:00-17:00 (47.5 hours)Salary: 45,000-50,000 per annumBenefits include pension scheme and on-site parkingTo find out more, please contact Adam or Scott onINDENGPlanet Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
