Minimum 6 hours overtime per week.Type: Full time permanentJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled structural steel Plater to join our clients busy fabrication shop.ResponsibilitiesOperate welding equipment, to fabricate metal components as per specifications.Utilise power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.Read and interpret technical drawings.Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and efficiency.Conduct basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions during fabrication.RequirementsProven experience in plating, welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge.Familiarity with structural steel work is highly desirable.Proficient in using overhead cranes.Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting during the fabrication process. xjdpvnf For more information please contact Kimi at Imperial Recruitment Group.
