Apply Now for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as the Support Officer / Supported Housing Assistant include:Assessing Referrals: Engaging prospective customers using a person-centred approachMulti-Agency Working: Liaising with health professionals, partner agencies and colleaguesTenancy Support: Ensuring customers understand support available, financial obligations, rights and responsibilitiesSupport Planning: Creating, reviewing and delivering Independent Living Plans and Risk AssessmentsPerson-Centred Delivery: Providing flexible, tailored support to achieve agreed outcomesPartnership Working: Building strong relationships with external stakeholders and internal servicesSafeguarding: Reporting and managing safeguarding concerns in line with proceduresRecord Keeping: Completing accurate documentation and maintaining up-to-date recordsData Collection: Contributing to statutory returns and service reportingComplaints Handling: Managing complaints and representations in line with policyCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSESSENTIALPrevious experience supporting individuals to achieve and maintain independenceExperience working with diverse client groups, including mental health and substance misuseGCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and EnglishStrong communication and relationship-building skillsGood organisational and time management abilitiesConfidence using IT systems and management information systemsAbility to manage challenging behaviour in a professional mannerFull UK driving licence and access to own transportDESIRABLEHousing or support-related qualificationExperience of partnership working with statutory and voluntary agenciesThis role requires an enhanced DBSBENEFITS25 days holiday (Plus Bank Holidays)Up to 8% contributory pensionInvestment in your learning and developmentGenerous annual allowance of up to 300 to use towards health and lifestyle benefits for both you and your familyThe organisation recognises that some people will only apply for a role if they meet 100% of role requirements.
