Rotating Shifts | PermanentWe are seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving improvements across a modern, fast-paced distribution facility, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting the development of maintenance systems.Whats on Offer:Salary: 42,500 (20.24 per hour)Rotating AM/PM shifts:Week 1: MonFri, 07:0015:00Week 2: MonFri, 15:0023:001 in 3 Sundays: 07:0012:0022 days holiday + bank holidaysCompany pension & EAP programmeThe Role:As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvements across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.Respond quickly to breakdowns, carrying out effective fault-finding and defect repairs to minimise downtime.Support the transition from a reactive maintenance culture to a more proactive approach.Maintain and optimise automated machinery, including volume-picking and conveyor systems.Engage and manage external contractors, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.Assist in the delivery of technical and supply chain projects, contributing to site development and efficiency.About You:Time-served engineer with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.Strong background in electrical maintenance, with additional mechanical skills (approx. 60/40 split).Skilled in working with drives, hydraulics, inverters, and automation systems.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to influence change and drive improvements.IT literate, with the ability to utilise software and data to support maintenance strategies.Able to pass a DBS check and provide proof of qualifications.Why Join?This is more than just a maintenance role its a chance to make a real impact. xjdpvnf Youll be joining a team where your input can directly shape the sites engineering standards, develop PPM systems, and support ongoing improvements to ensure reliability and efficiency.
